home.

there is nothing better than being home.  after ten weeks of being in vegas i am back in my hometown with my friends and family.  the adventure was well worth it...but nothing beats home.

after a LONG eight hour car drive.

i was greeted with big hugs and balloons!  couldn't be happier.

one week.

i can do this.  i only have one week and i'll be done with my adventure here in vegas.  can't believe it's near the end.  five days left of watching the most adorable girls ever. 

i'll be honest though, i'm looking forward to friday.  boyfriend's flight arrives and we will be making our way to the strip to go to dinner and see blue man group!  there is also one more bbq planned before i part my way back to utah.

did everyone enjoy the 4th of july!?  i always love this holiday.  good american food, parades with candy and of course fireworks!

this year was different.  first, i wasn't working which is a first in four years.  second, i wasn't home.  but of course i enjoyed it none the less...

i'm alive.

you know that moment when you are bed and you are wondering if it's worth it to get up and go to the bathroom?  happens on a daily basis and it's just plain annoying.  but you know the moment you come back to bed you'll pass out into deep sleep as soon as you hit the pillow.  i should stop drinking lots of water at night.


but on another note you'll never guess what i got to do last night!  i got to see this amazing woman sing at ceasar's palace.  i've never been to anything like this and i wish everyone girl could go to her performance.  plus her outfits were to die for.  in the words of rachel zoe "i die!"

i wish i would have gotten some pictures of proof i went out in the colosseum.  it just slipped my mind.  but if you are with your girls and looking for a good show to go to in vegas...i suggest celine dion!

i'm back.

after five days at disneyland i'm back in warm hot las vegas.  it was a great trip and i still have yet to unpack.  i have the feeling the energy won't come until tomorrow. 

we had a great time and the girls loved most every second of it.  as soon as i get pictures edited and sorted i'll let you on all the adventures that took place.  but for now...please place all attention on how adorable this little girl is.  i just can't get enough of her.

it's been awhile.

i've been busy but i'm back to update you on everything.   i've had tons of adventures already...

i've eaten at tons of yummy places with cute girls

learned that onion rings are great for accessorizing.

earned two labs love even if it's just to play

so far so good.

i'm here...in vegas!  my internet connection isn't very good so i'm sure there will be a lack of posts this summer, but i'm hoping that will change because it's only been a few days and there has been so much that has happened.   i'll try and squeeze everything in most posts so be patient with me; but if not blame the wifi.


to start.  everything is going great.  the girls are adorable and already slowly warming up to me.  the dogs on the other hand love me and won't stop licking me and i'm seriously a slobered mess within five seconds of entering the house.  but that okay! 

my family has spoiled me rotten so far.  they've had a bbq for me, we've gone to lunch...we went to sweet tomatoes and o.m.g.  it was so good!  have any of you been there?  because i highly recommend it.  

in all.  i'm way excited to be out here.  it's going to be fast because of working two jobs but i'm going to love and appreciate every minute of it!  i hope all you have a great summer.  i'll try to stay updated on all of your blogs, promise.
