home sweet home
my apartment needs a little pick-me up. this is where you lovely people come in. what are some simple ideas [cheap would be nice] to fill up wall space and to make my apartment more "homie." what little things have you added to your apartment that just made it "complete."

I suggest you go to 'weheartit.com' and search for 'decor ideas'. I found a lot of nice ideas there which I plan on using in my new room next year in my dorm/res. :)

i used to have pictures (and other stuff) plastered all over my wall, but i recently stripped it because i was going to paint it.
it had everything: big pictures from the sunday newspaper (violin, clown, circus photos, dancing), photographs that i love, portraits and pictures my friends drew and gave to me, meaningful notes, tiny little pictures (like butterflies). everything went up on that wall. it was quite the mural, actually. perhaps i need to put it all back up...
