i saw the movie black swan today ...and loved it. i'll admit it is a very dark movie, but with that set aside i enjoyed it.
without fail, every dance movie makes me miss dancing. i was a dancer growing up but completely stopped post high school.
i did study ballet, but only to improve my technique. some days i wish i would have chosen ballet rather than "studio" dance; or at least extended my ballet study.
as for now. i'll stick to dancing in my room and maybe one day i'll have my dancer body back.

i used to be a ballet dancer in primary school and i loved it, i could do the forwards splits but now its effort just to sit on the ground ahaa! maybe ill pick it back up one day..
xxxxxxxxxx
That is one crazy dance move! My best dance moves are pulled out during a good lounge room dance party :P
Oh man, I was a dancer too and I feel the same way. I have been looking into starting up ballet lessons as an "adult" but I think I'm a little too embarrassed :) thanks for the post!
I love watching a woman dance, it's one of the most beautiful forms of self-expression I can think of.
I feel the same way about acting whenever I go to the theater. I almost wish I had taken the chance and moved to NYC...
I like dancing. It's always a lot of fun. I wouldn't call my dancing particularly pretty or elegant, but I always have a blast.
I wiiiish I could dance. I have no ability what so ever!
Jamie is a very beautiful & graceful dancer. She started dancing at the age of 5. It's never too late to do something you truly love. I took ballet at the age of 24, and it was awesome!
When I get back we'll go dance.
Look at those legs...amazing!
I'm seeing Black Swan tomorrow, finally.
I've been wanting to see this!!! but yes, it does look a bit dark... I miss dancing too! We even danced together! hahahaha. Every time the Nutcracker music comes on, I get this soft spot in my heart... and become a party girl/ornament/soldier all over again. I haven't seen it for years. I WILL GO THIS YEAR! haha
